I looked up the original version of this song on YouTube and I do believe he is doing his Beyonce impression: she wears a black leotard and dances sort of like him to this song.

And seriously, this guy shakes it better than I can, and that is a little depressing.

Oh, I know it's a Beyonce impression (did you see Justin Timberlake doing his? haha) it's just not often that you see a guy in a leotard shakin' what god gave him. :)

oh my gosh, i had no idea there were so many guys dancing to this song on youtube! Now I know. (I just wasted 30 minutes watching different men dance to this song, ha ha!)

~E~ Ichiban son graduated from high school yesterday! He struck a very handsome figure in his tie and dress slacks, even more so with the cap and gown. They made him remove the bandanna he had on under the cap but I was still able to pick him out of the crowd by the ponytail that flowed halfway down his back. I don't know how he felt, but it was a thrill for me to hear his name as he walked across the stage. I'm proud of my boy. I remember him as a chubby little toddler, me wondering what sort of man he would turn out to be. Now I know. He's inquisitive, very creative, athletic, smart, funny, handsome. He probably does not realize what he's got going for him; I hope he finds within himself some direction or passion. Once he taps that, there will be no limits. I also feel proud that I raised such a person. I really did the best I could against some unpleasant odds. Congratulations, Number One Son!!

Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

~E~ Pirate pants complete! I'm sewing and I'm happy! I'm working on pirate costumes for myself and for Daughter for Halloween and I'm on fire . I'm not a super seamstress, but I can get the job done if the instructions are clear. My methods might be laughed at by a professional but I enjoy what I do and I've made some pretty awesome things, I have to say. Ichiban Son got a kick-ass Green Power Ranger costume for kindergarten that took me probably 60 hours to make but it was totally worth it - I impressed myself and everyone else who saw it. Daughter got a harem costume one year, and a gypsy/pirate queen costume the next. Another of my favorites is a kilt I made from red bandannas; it was for a party with a scottish/cowby theme. I went online to look at kilt patterns and then just made it up as I went along. It was awesome, the pleats were f*ing amazing, but no one else was as excited about it as I was. haha. They sucked. There's something to be said for lovely weekends

~E~ Ah, yes. Why not take the whole family in for a tattoo? I had offered Al's mom a tattoo for her birthday, rather half-jokingly, but she jumped at the chance! Al and his brother decided to get in on the fun as well, so we all went together to "mark" them. I declined, lest you think you should ask to see mine, thank you. It seems like it should be a momentous occasion, getting your first tattoo, being marked for the rest of your life. It really wasn't. The artists came up, asked if this was the one you wanted, then took you back and buzzed away. It was all over in less than half an hour. Al's forever marking: His brother's forever marking: I didn't get a pic of his mom's. Too bad, since she was the impetus for all this craziness. Sunday I spent with my friend M, looking at an art exhibit about 'Mami Wata' and giving her birthday presents. YAY presents!
