I always enjoyed this skit from Sesame Street; I used to watch it with Number One Son when he was a toddler. Honest. He was the one who wanted to watch it. The tune was catchy and we'd both find ourselves singing it at odd times.



Several years later I caught a classic movie on TV and this scene came up. I was floored. They stole it from Sesame Street! The nerve.



I love musicals. I can't wait for YIFO's to come out.

Ha! Yes! You know Anna is going to SCHOOL for writing musicals? She is amazing.

I can't watch these videos at work, tragically, but there are so many Sesame Street skits that I think of all the time and love. What a great show.

No video at work is a damned shame!! I didn't know that about Anna, now I'm quadrupally upset that I am not a close personal friend of hers.

My dad died on December 12, 2005. His health had been declining slowly for a few years, but that summer he started going fast. He got weaker, shakier. By October, he would have these weird moments where he just wasn't dad. They became more frequent, and many nights after visiting my parents, I went home and cried. This was not my father.
